About the group

Sheffield and Rotherham Motorcycle Action Group is a new group formed in April 2010. Due to the short history, we don't have many successes to shout about at this time.

The previous group in the area, Sheffield MAG, was responsible for getting one of the earliest motorcycle trials for bus lane access. This has since been made permanant by Sheffield city council.

Our aim over the coming months is to work with Barnsley group to expand the scheme to the whole county. To achieve that, we are in contact with government at all levels.

The group meets on the First and Third Sundays of the month, starting at 7pm. Dates are listed on the right, along with other MAG events which may be of interest.

We meet at Carbrook Hall, which is located near Sheffield Arena. The map above gives a rough idea of where we are, and for satellite navigation the postcode is S9 2FJ.

Everyone is welcome to meetings, whether members of MAG or not. We reserve the right to harass non-members into joining, and membership is required for voting.

If you have an issue that needs raising, then bring it to a meeting for discussion. Nothing is out of bounds for discussion, and tangents are frequent and wide-ranging.

Alternatively, feel free to e-mail the group representative. His e-mail address is oliver.rose@mag-uk.org.
